Frankston’s Lauren Scherf has been suspended for three (3) games for an on-court action against Bendigo during a match that took place at Frankston on Sunday 18th May 2025.

Frankston’s Lauren Scherf has been suspended for three (3) games for an on-court action against Bendigo during a match that took place at Frankston on Sunday 18th May 2025.
Scherf was involved in an incident with 1:13 remaining in the 4th quarter. The incident attracted a disqualifying foul and was referred by the officials to league management. It was determined by the NBL1 South Review Panel that the action was a classifiable offence as outlined in the Basketball Victoria Tribunal By-Laws:

Statement from NBL1 South League Manager Alison Cody:
Lauren Scherf has accepted the offer provided by Basketball Victoria and will serve her 3 game suspension. Scherf will be available to return to play when Frankston play against Waverley on the 14th June.
There will be no further comment.
