The North West Thunder have made a major splash, signing Mason Bragg, Kyle Clark and Taran Armstrong for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

Bragg had committed to the Thunder for the 2020 campaign and will return next year. He won the 2016/17 NBL championship with the Perth Wildcats and brings 124 SEABL game experience to the Thunder.

Clark is a former North West player, having suited up in 12 games in 2014 before going to St Mary’s college in America. While injury dogged him after his sophomore season with the Gaels, Clark returns to his home state of Tasmania ready to bounce back with the Thunder.

Armstrong is one of the most talented juniors in Australian basketballers, having just committed to Cal Baptist University where he will join his brother and former Thunder player Tre Armstrong. Taran has been a Tasmanian state player every year since 2016 and was in the Australian under 17 squad from 2017 to 2019.
