There were Saturday night NBL1 North wins for both Ipswich Force teams, Northside Wizards and Logan Thunder women, and Gold Coast Rollers and Sunshine Coast Phoenix men.

Lamar Patterson had 45 points and DJ Mitchell 36 as Ipswich Force scored the last 15 points of regulation, and then the last nine of overtime to win the NBL1 North game of the season over Brisbane Capitals on Saturday night.

Gold Coast Rollers (75) lost to Northside Wizards (85)
The Northside Wizards put up 55 points in the first half to set up the eventual 85-75 win against the Gold Coast Rollers on the back of 30 points from Cierra Walker.
Gold Coast were fresh off suffering an 18th straight loss on Friday night to the Southern Districts Spartans ahead of hosting the Wizards at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium.
The Wizards arrived also on a five-game losing slide but without Courtney Woods so it was the bottom two teams in the NBL1 North locking horns, and it was a tight contest early with Northside narrowly leading 25-24 at quarter-time.
It was in the second term when the Wizards took control with 30 points to 13 on the back of hitting 4/9 from three-point range while Gold Coast went 1/11.
Northside were leading 55-37 at the half-time break and while the Wizards did maintain a double-figure lead most of the last term on the way to a 10-point win, but the Rollers did show plenty of fight in search of that drought breaking win.
The Wizards improve to 4-8 on the season with the win to snap their five-match losing run with Cierra Walker playing a starring role with 30 points with 6/10 three-point shooting.
Erin Harvey also had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists, Saskia Gunness 14 points, 10 boards, four assists and two steals, and Alice O'Driscoll 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Gold Coast have now lost 19 straight and all 11 games of this season with Nyah Morris producing 15 points and three steals on 5/12 three-point shooting.
Emma Petrie added 15 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Juna Umezawa 15 points, nine boards and three assists, Tera Reed 11 points, six rebounds and two steals, and Tara Manumaleuga 15 points, seven assists, five boards and three steals.

Brisbane Capitals (82) lost to Ipswich Force (89)
The Ipswich Force returned to the NBL1 North winner's list with Kahlaijah Dean and Hannah Young combined for 54 points to beat the Brisbane Capitals 89-82 who got 53 from Ashley Arlen and Grace Ellis.
Both teams came into the contest at Auchenflower Stadium on the outside of the top six with the Capitals once again without Miela Sowah who just finished at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Mongolia, and now is preparing to play with the Opals at the Asia Cup in China.
Ipswich were attempting to snap a three-game losing slide and it was the Force who had the better of the start with 22 points to 12 in the opening quarter having gone on a 12-0 run and led by as much as 15.
Brisbane did get back into the contest with a 10-0 scoring run in the second period and by half-time it was Ipswich just clinging to the 37-34 advantage.
The Force did continue to lead throughout the second half although never by more than nine points as they could never quite shake the Caps, but they did do enough to hold them out for the seven-point victory.
Despite shooting 4/19 from three-point range, Ipswich still shot 43 per cent from the field overall to 38 from the Capitals to score the win that improves them to a 4-7 record on the season.
Kahlaijah Dean delivered 30 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and two steals with Hannah Young contributing 24 points, six boards, two assists and two steals, and Ellissa Brett 15 points, 14 rebounds and three assists.
Brisbane have now lost three straight in the absence of Miela Sowah to now be 3-7 on the season with Ashley Arlen finishing with 29 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists and two blocked shots on 5/11 three-point shooting.
Grace Ellis added 24 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks with Tyla Stolberg adding 11 points and three boards on 5/7 shooting.

Logan Thunder (76) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (71)
Logan Thunder made it nine straight wins to maintain a top two spot in the NBL1 North with the 76-71 home win against the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.
The Thunder were back home at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre putting their winning run on the line against a Sunshine Coast team trying to maintain their hold on a top six position.
Logan knocked down five three-pointers in the first quarter on the way to leading 24-13 and then that Thunder advantage got out to 15 points in the second frame.
The Phoenix were able to dig deep, though, and limited the lead for the Thunder to 43-38 by the half-time interval.
The Phoenix then delivered another 15 points to nine in the third term to open up their own three-point, but Logan were able to respond once more down the stretch to secure the eventual five-point victory.
Precious little separated the two teams with both shooting 36 per cent from the field while Logan went 9/30 from three and 21/24 at the foul line opposed to the 7/27 from three for the Phoenix and 16/20 at the free-throw line.
Sunshine Coast also had 18 offensive rebounds to nine but 22 turnovers proved costly for the Phoenix with Logan scoring 13 points from those.
The victory improves Logan to a 9-1 record having won nine straight matches with Leah Scott producing 23 points and eight rebounds on 8/10 field goal shooting.
Amandine Toi added 16 points, three rebounds and three assists, Mikhaela Cann 13 points, 10 boards and five assists, and Kendell Heremaia eight points, four rebounds and two steals.
Sunshine Coast are now 6-5 on the season ahead of hosting the South West Metro Pirates on Sunday with Shanno Ryan finishing with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Jessica Boundy also had 20 points, four steals and three rebounds with Erin Bollmann contributing 12 points, seven boards and four assists, and Amy Browne nine points, nine rebounds and four assists.

Gold Coast Rollers (81) defeated Northside Wizards (77)
The Gold Coast Rollers came from behind to bounce back from their Friday night loss to beat the Northside Wizards 81-77 on the back of 26 points from Preston Le Gassick.
Gold Coast opened their weekend double losing to the Southern Districts Spartans on Friday night while the Wizards came into the contest at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium clinging to sixth position.
It was a fast start from Northside to see them go into quarter-time leading 27-17 but then Gold Coast hit back by going on a 12-0 run to cut the Wizards lead to 44-40 by the half-time break.
Northside were still three points up at three quarter-time but then Gold Coast worked on top in the fourth period with 19 points to 12 to end up securing the four-point victory.
As a result of the win, Gold Coast splits their weekend double to now sit on a 6-5 record with Preston Le Gassick producing 26 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Reuben Te Rangi added 17 points, three assists and two rebounds, Jensen Bradtke 15 points, three boards and four assists, and Cooper Urquhart six points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.
Wizards slip to a 6-6 record with a second consecutive loss with just two games to finish this regular season against the Southern Districts Spartans and Brisbane Capitals.
Durrell McDonald top-scored with 18 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals with Nikau McCullough contributing 14 points and two assists, and Tyler Williams 12 points and three assists.
Josh Kunen also had 12 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals, and Jed Richardson nine points, 12 boards, five steals and two blocked shots.

Brisbane Capitals (125) lost to Ipswich Force (130)
The two teams combined for 255 points and it went to overtime where the Ipswich Force scored the last nine points eventually overcome the Brisbane Capitals 130-125 with a combined 81 points from Lamar Patterson and DJ Mitchell.
By the end of the night, Sam McDaniel had delivered 38 points for the Capitals, Uche Dibiamaka 26 and Matthew Johns 23 while Patterson produced 45 for Force and Mitchell 36 in what is going to take some topping as the game of the NBL1 North season.
The tone was set for the match up in the opening quarter when they combined for 62 points in the first quarter with Ipswich leading 34-28 by quarter-time with 6/11 three-point shooting.
Brisbane then delivered 37 points to 23 in the second frame with 5/7 shooting from downtown themselves which saw the home team head into half-time leading 65-57.
The Capitals were then still leading by 11 points at three quarter-time before that advantage got out to 15 in the fourth term with 3:45 to play when Matthew Johns knocked down a three ball.
The game looked done but nobody told the Force that and they would end up scoring the last 15 straight points of regulation concluding with a floater from Mitchell to level scores up at 115-115 and to send the game to overtime.
Then in the extra period, Brisbane again got out to a handy lead when up four halfway through the five minutes thanks to a three-point play from Johns.
Once again Ipswich fired back and this time scoring the last nine points led them to scoring the five-point win with the last five of those points coming from Patterson.
Ipswich improves to a 5-4 record with the win with Lamar Patterson spectacular with 45 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, five steals and two blocks with 5/11 three-point shooting and going 14/15 at the foul line.
DJ Mitchell is gearing up for his NBL return at the South East Melbourne Phoenix and had 36 points, 11 rebounds and four assists with 5/9 shooting from behind the arc.
Jason Ralph also had 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds, Kane Bishop 11 points and three boards, and Ngor Nai nine points and four rebounds.
Brisbane are now 7-3 on the season with the defeat with reigning MVP Sam McDaniel delivering 38 points, 10 assists and five rebounds on 14/21 shooting from the floor, 4/5 from downtown and 6/7 at the foul line.
Uche Dibiamaka added 26 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals, Matthew Johns 23 points, six boards, six assists and three steals, and Isaih Tueta 17 points, six assists and four rebounds.

Logan Thunder (93) lost to Sunshine Coast Phoenix (108)
The Sunshine Coast Phoenix opened up a 27-point lead and ended up beating Logan Thunder 108-93 to move into top spot in the NBL1 North by the end of Saturday night.
Sunshine Coast came into the match up at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre looking to bounce back from a heavy loss to the Brisbane Capitals while Logan were at home and on a four-match winning streak.
The two teams combined for 66 points in the first quarter with Sunshine Coast leading 36-30 by quarter-time on the back of shooting 13/20 from the floor with 4/9 from deep while Logan went 11/18 over all with 4/7 from downtown.
The Phoenix produced another 31 points to 19 in the second period which saw them go into the half-time break leading 67-49.
That lead continued to grow and got out to 23 points in the third term and 26 in the fourth, and then despite a spirited finish from Logan, Sunshine Coast ended up scoring the 15-point victory.
The Phoenix improve to an 8-3 record as a result of the win ahead of taking on the South West Metro Pirates on Sunday afternoon.
Earnest Ross delivered 24 points and nine rebounds with 4/7 shooting from behind the arc for Sunshine Coast with Erik Kafritsas adding 19 points and four boards, and Jamaal Robateau 18 points, four rebounds and two assists.
DeShawn Ross-Paiwan added 15 points, two rebounds and two assists, and Darnell Robateau 11 points, nine boards, nine assists and two steals.
Logan are now 6-5 on the season with their four-game winning run coming to an end with Matt Kenyon producing 19 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists and two steals.
Callum Dalton also had 17 points, nine rebounds and two assists, Zac Triplett 18 points, four boards and three assists, Tom Howard 15 points and five rebounds, and Tyrone Fui 11 points with 2/2 three-point shooting.
