Steph Reid signs with Sandringham

Sandringham Sabres have secured one of the league’s premier guards, with Stephanie Reid officially signing for the NBL1 South 2026 season.

Reid joins the Sabres after a standout 2025 campaign with Diamond Valley, where she was named co-winner of the Defensive Player of the Year. The 5’6” guard was a two-way force throughout the season, averaging 21.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game, while knocking down more than three three-pointers a night.

She is currently playing with PolskaStrefaInwestycji Enea Gorzow Wielkopolski in Poland’s top-tier OBLK, continuing to sharpen her game against international competition.

Reid’s 2025 season also featured success on the world stage, claiming gold with the Australian Opals at the FIBA Asia Cup in China.

Her arrival gives Sandringham a proven playmaker and relentless competitor as the Sabres build toward a strong 2026 campaign.
